Maperia — a social places database
The first POI locator with real social-network features: events and places nearby, described by the people who go there.

Connect a places database with community life, so users always know what is happening around them.
What we built
Maperia — the first POI locator with real social-network functionality, keeping its users informed about events and places in the neighbourhood. We then took it into augmented reality: Maperia’s layer in the Layar browser was the first Polish AR data layer, with international reach.
